Overstones is a local family run residential building company in North Somerset. Bryan Wall started the company in 2005 where our main objective was to not only do a great job but offer a personalised customer focus. For this to work we aim to only do one job at a time, getting to know our clients and what they want, and not having our attention taken away by other jobs, and speeding up the process for completing your job.
We have over the years completed hundreds of design & build jobs in Bristol and North Somerset from existing architects plans or from our own approved designs.
These jobs include: extensions, garage conversions, loft conversions, using timber framing, sips and standard construction methods, kitchen and bathroom fitting, laying laminate/wood/tiled flooring with electric/water underfloor heating, fencing, retaining walls, etc… All with satisfied, happy customers.
Over the year, Overstones have completed a number of extensions of varying shapes, sizes and styles to include Sip, timber frame, and block built extensions, loft conversion, as well as, garage conversions.
We work from existing plans, and use our preferred partners to design larger projects or we can work direct with you on smaller jobs to provide a build solution without you incurring the design costs.

During the design & build, the team from Overstones worked closely with us and our architect to ensure the demolition and subsequent build went as smoothly as possible. Any issues during the build were dealt with swiftly and professionally, even during the heavy snow of last December every effort was made to ensure there was the minimum of delay in the project.
During the build, a number of internal walls were removed. Bryan and team made every effort to ensure that the area was clean and we were able to access this part of the house safely. We are very happy with the quality of the work completed by Overtones and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others or use their services again in the future.
